British Court Rules On Ibori’s Case Tomorrow

A British Court of Appeal in London will tomorrow deliver judgment in the money laundering case against former Delta State governor, James Onanefe Ibori.

The Court deliberated yesterday and fixed judgment for tomorrow. During the sitting, the Court heard arguments from both sides.

Last Justice Gloria Okeke, ruled that she had no jurisdiction to entertain the case brought before her court by the Delta State government barring the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from arresting the former governor and other officials of the state.
